Description

With 6.9 kW charging power, you can charge 3-times faster than an ordinary domestic socket.
With the ABL charging station eMH1 Basic mit Kabel EVSE531 you can charge your electric vehicle with a power of 6.9 kW, which significantly reduces the charging time. We have prepared a summary here for customers to see how they can charge specific vehicles quicker and therefore save time.

Perfect for the garage, but also for outdoor use.
The ABL eMH1 Basic EVSE531 charging station is designed for wall or floor mounting, with a stand for indoor and outdoor use. A weather-resistant and durable plastic case protects the electrical equipment from moisture, and makes it both stable and durable. Thanks to the convenient cable holder, everything is easy to clean and the ABL charging station is always immediately ready for charging.

Two factors that make the ABL charging station particularly safe.
1. A built-in RCD Type A DC: To avoid electric shocks, a separate safety circuit breaker is already integrated in the form of an FI Type A (Residual Current Device). A separate module in the ABL charging station eMH1 Basic with cable EVSE531 recognises faults in the current up to 6mA, and lets the charging station switch off the faulty charging circuit. That is particularly important, because DC current faults can occur when charging electric vehicles. If the vehicle manufacture cannot rule out a possible direct current fault of >6mA, an FI type A with EV current fault detection or Type B FI should also be installed. This can cost up to €100-150 depending on the requirements of the FI. An FI is already integrated in all charging stations from ABL, with a charging capacity of up to 11 kW.

2. A lockable panel prevents unauthorised access: A lockable panel also restricts access to the switching devices and protects the ABL charging station from unauthorised access, especially if it is installed outdoors.
The socket is interlocked when charging, which means that the vehicle and charging station are securely connected to each other and also protected against unauthorised access.

Where can I install the ABL charging station?
The charging station is supplied pre-installed and ready to be connected, and can be easily mounted wherever you need it (garage, carport or house wall) by a qualified electrician. A weather-resistant and durable plastic case protects the electrical equipment from moisture, and makes it both stable and durable.

Other special features.
The ABL charging station eMH1 Basic EVSE531 is the smallest charging station in the world, and its compact design and practical side connection make it ideal for confined spaces.
With the RS 485 interface, the ABL charging station can also be connected to other networked charging stations via digital data exchange. The charging station is therefore ready to charge electric vehicles when controlled from a user platform. This feature is particularly interesting for load management.

Keep this in mind when installing the charging station for your electric car:
Installation, assembly and maintenance work must only be carried out by a qualified electrician familiar with the industry standards and installation instructions, and is fully responsible for the installation. Here we've summarized all relevant information, with what you have to pay attention to when you want to install a charging station.

ABL Sursum: A quality manufacturer from Germany.
This Bavarian family business produces high-quality electrical accessories for industry and commerce. As early as 1925, company founder Albert Büttner developed the SCHUKO plug, which is now the most widely used plug and socket system in the world. At the same time Sursum developed the first automatic cut-out, which is used today everywhere for building and industrial installations in the form of circuit breakers. The merger of the two innovators means that today ABL Sursum offers a broad and high quality range of products, the latest of which includes charging stations for electric vehicles.
